03 — Specialisation Trader-only by design

Why we only host
trading workloads.

Trader infrastructure has unusual requirements that generalist hosts treat as edge cases. We treat them as the product.

  1. i.

    Sessions, not 9-to-5.

    Equity, futures, and FX sessions don't align with weekday business hours. Our maintenance windows are scheduled around CME, ICE, and LSE calendars, not around our convenience. Patches don't ship during cash-open.

  2. ii.

    Execution-grade latency.

    Generic "low-latency" marketing doesn't survive contact with a trader running a 5-millisecond scalping system. Our edge nodes are placed within metropolitan distance of broker datacentres and benchmarked weekly against the venues that matter.

  3. iii.

    Platform-aware tooling.

    MetaTrader, NinjaTrader, TradingView desktop, Sierra Chart, ATAS — we know which paths these tools serialise on, which Windows services they conflict with, and what their failure modes look like. Our agents and provisioning are built around them.

  4. iv.

    No overcommit during prime time.

    On generic VPS, your CPU is shared with whoever else is on the host. During the New York open, that's untenable. Our trading-tier hosts are provisioned for sustained peak, not average-case.

  5. v.

    Operations who speak the language.

    Our on-call engineers have run trading systems themselves. When a ticket reads "EA stopped after a margin call", the response doesn't start with "have you tried restarting".

Korabay is independently owned and operator-led. We don't take outside capital, we ship our own product, and we plan to be operating this infrastructure a decade from now.

Korabay Ltd. is an Ontario-incorporated cloud and managed-hosting provider. The company operates a Windows infrastructure fleet across multiple regions in North America and Europe, focused entirely on the workloads of active traders.

We are independently owned and operator-led. Korabay does not take outside capital; engineering, operations, and management are all internal. Revenue is reinvested into the fleet, into reliability, and into the people who run it.

Korabay is privately held by its founders. Books, banking, leadership, and decision-making are Canadian; our customers and our payroll are not.
